| Personal Finance - Jedi Masters |

I am not a Personal Finance Jedi Master. Not yet, anyway. I still consider myself to be what you would (at least in the Star Wars Universe) call a Personal Finance Padawan. I think my experience inside the Debt Black Hole (going through Bankruptcy) was the trial that propelled me from a Youngling/Initiate to this status.
The Debt Black Hole is still relatively new. And because my particular niche is combining Personal Finance topics with Geek Culture, this site is (and will likely always be) on the Outer Rim of what I call the Personal Finance Galaxy. I'm not sure I'd consider my site to be the Tatooine of the group, either. Probably better referenced as an "expanded universe" location like Qexis or Ord Cantrell.
I am the first to admit- I still have a lot to learn. I still make mistakes. But I consider myself to be very sensitive to the Financial Force and I'm always eager to learn more. Luckily, for those of us who want to continue to learn more about Personal Finance, Money Management, Investing and other similar subjects, there are hundreds of experienced, talented real-life Personal Finance Jedi Masters online who share their knowledge with the rest of us. The center of this group- the Core Worlds if you will- are easily accessible...even if you don't have a Starship or functioning Hyperdrive. It's easy to find these resources because there is a website- whose owners I'd compare to the Agents of Ossus- who have made it their mission to keep track of the most powerful and talented Personal Finance Jedi Masters. They are more widely known as the- Money Crashers.
My new friends at Money Crashers are, themselves, Personal Finance Jedi Masters. But they have created an extensive list of Top Personal Finance Blogs.
On this list you will find a total of 590 Personal Finance Blogs. Money Crashers uses a comprehensive algorithm to rank these sites based on a number of factors- including Feedburner Subscribers, Alexa Ranking, Google PageRank, Twitter Followers, SEOmoz mozRank and other data. Each site's stats are then assigned a number of points. The number of points a site receives determines their rank. The listed sites can then post a badge on their site that states their current rank (see mine below).
Want more proof that the Debt Black Hole is in the Outer Rim of the Personal Finance Galaxy ? As you can see, my current rank- at the time I'm writing this- is #414. Here's my badge:
Really, I'm just honored to be included on the list in the first place. I'm surrounded by an amazing group of personal finance writers and content creators. Just being in the Top 500 is awesome!
I suggest if you're looking for other great sources for banking, budgeting, credit, debt, credit cards, deals or coupons, frugality, investing, retirement or other personal finance topics- bookmark the Money Crashers Top Personal Finance Blogs list! But please- don't forget about me and the other unique blogs out here in the Outer Rim...okay?

I didn't watch Star Wars until I was a freshman in college; I missed so much :-)
